Margery Handy

Margery Handy is a versatile, multi-genre vocalist based in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. She is known for a rich, velvety tone as well as her robust Broadway vocals. Her favorite sound blends classic smoky-jazz phrasing with old school Rhythm and Blues and soft rock cadences. She is inspired by the works of Natalie Cole, Roberta Flack, Sarah Vaughn, Dionne Warwick, Peggy Lee, Phyllis Hyman and a touch of Diana Ross.

Margery uses her voice to turn intimate personal stories into universal celebrations of love and resilience. You can find Margery singing in small intimate cafes or on the live theatrical stage with various theater companies in the St. Louis Metro area. She is pleased to make her Blue Strawberry debut!

Jerome Davis is a veteran stage actor whose dynamic performances have captivated audiences for over 30 years. A longtime company member of The St. Louis Black Rep, Davis brings depth and versatility to each role, with a repertoire that spans from Shakespeare to August Wilson.

Larry D. Pry (He, Him) has been music directing and teaching voice, piano and musical theater for over 40 years. He’s a nationally recognized vocal coach, music director, clinician, orchestrator and accompanist. He served as the Associate Music Director for the world premiere of Stephen Schwartz’s CHILDREN OF EDEN. Larry worked as an audition pianist and Publicity Manager for The Muny for 18 years. He served as part of the faculty at Webster University (15 years), St. Louis University (5 years) and Washington University (5 years). Favorite performance venues include Mile High Stadium, The Muny, The Fabulous Fox Theatre and The New Jewish Theatre. Internationally, Larry has performed with the Beach Boys, Charo and many theatrical tours. Larry received the 2024 St. Louis Theatre Circle Award for Outstanding Musical Director for The New Jewish Theatre’s production of INTO THE WOODS.
