Katie McGrath

“Hope Floats: Songs of Optimism Amid This Mayhem” is the convergence of Katie McGrath’s key passions: music, activism and faith that everything’s going to be OK — eventually. She weaves her wry observations about this most peculiar year around songs that inspire her by Sara Bareilles, Joni Mitchell, Bruce Spingsteen, Alan Menken, Mary Chapin Carpenter and more.

Katie is highly acclaimed as a Bistro Award-winning cabaret artist who has "pursued, captured, and pretty much perfected" the art form, according to www.broadwayworld.com. Known for shows like Aunt of the Year and Significant Others, she is praised for blending humor, poignant storytelling, and, as noted in Cabaret Scenes, a masterful, emotional connection with her audience.
